How would you interpret a dream: pet lion, and you bring it out for a walk, but it keeps on trying to eat you?

The pet lion ignores everyone else. You eventually lock it up to protect yourself, in a 17th century stable with old wooden (oak) doors with huge metal locks.

I had this bizarre dream last night!

Not that I am an expert, but it seems to represent you are courting with something or someone that obviously poses a danger to you. Lions are wild animals and as such are inherently dangerous. The fact that you had one as a pet demonstrates that the dream “you” either did not realize lions are dangerous (i.e., ignorant) or did not *care* that lions are dangerous (i.e., foolish or naive). The stable seems to represent something that is “stable” and has withstood the test of time. Maybe traditional values, family, religious/spiritual influence. Just my 2 cents.
