What is the correct way to use all wheel drive in snow?

I’ve noticed when taking a corner in snow at a fast speed if I start to slip if I hit the gas it will grab and get traction. Most people I would think would hit the brake to slow down. That could also cause sliding though. If you get experienced with the all wheel drive in snow which way is the right way? Slow down with the brakes or hit the gas?

I wouldnt hit the brake or the gas. I’d hank the car into neutral and let the car drift till it gained traction. I own and drive rear wheel drive sports cars and it rains alot where i live and i’ve found myself in a couple drifts around corners. I never drop it in neutral as all my cars are standard but i defianantly would in an automatic just in case the gears change, that’ll cause you to lose it also.
