Is my adult royal python allowed to soak in his Water Bowl or is it dangerous?

I have just seen my adult royal ball python soaking in his water bowl and I took him out. Is it dangerous if he goes in his water bowl or is he allowed to ?

No its fine, snakes often soak themselves. They sometimes do it to help them poo, to shed loose skin or just because they want to.
