Undercoat Hair Coat

Would this brush work for my horse?

I was at walmart the other day, on a quest to get some shampoo (lol) I walkked past the pet aisle and took a quick peak at the Dog Toys, because my dog has absolutely clobbered all her chew-bones. I have a horse, who has a thick winter coat that she can’t shed. I spotted a brush, that’s supposed to remove thick undercoat hair in dogs. It was cheap so I purchased it.
I got home, and tested it on my dog and my cats. It worked like a charm for all my pets, but I haven’t been out to the stables yet, and I’m wondering do you think it would work on my horse?

Also, If this doesn’t work, I’m thinking about getting a Furminator. And I was wondering, does the furminator blade get dull?

Umm the one I bought…The bristles aren’t as long and sharp, and they’re closer together. yay.

I think the easiest thing to do if use very good conditioner and a shedding blade. Simply wash your horse, put the conditioner on wherever your horse needs it, and shedding blade away. It may take a little bit more time, but it always works like a charm for me.
