Training Tote Bag
How big does a chi apso weigh fully grown?
I have a chi apso puppy. Chihuahua/lhasa apso mix. She is 8 wks old right now and i want to get here a cute tote to take her everywhere in off of Ebay. The bag holds up to 4lbs. and I don’t want to buy it if she will grow out of it. Please help. Also, are lhasa apso’s or chihuahua’s as mean as everyone makes them out to be? Or as difficult to train? Thanx everyone in advance.
My Vet also said i cannot at 8wks take her on walks yet or let her run around the yard until she get ALL of her parvo shots. How do i socialize her then?
DP is right, and i’ll add that Chi’s are hard to house train, but being a mix with a Lhasa, it should balance out and be easier for you. But as far as all other ways of training, any dog can be a good and smart dog with the proper training, and Chi’s can be very intelligent, but stubborn and hard-headed when it comes to training, (I own an EXTREMELY hard-headed Chi, very tough to train) but again, your dog being a mix will definitely help, mixed breeds tend to turn out with good sides of both breeds, but it can also be vise versa. And also, purebred Chi’s, like mine, can have a tendency to be ‘mean’ or aggressive towards bigger dogs, and not do too well with small children, but this all depends on the owner, what he/she does to socialize the dog, and how well the owner corrects and trains the dog. The best thing you can do is do what I did, and socialize the heck out of your new pup! Take her everywhere outside, on walks every day to see new people and dogs, (correct her if she acts aggressively towards any human or dog, always), to dog parks, etc. EVERY DAY. Trust me, it helps a lot! Oh, and I had the same problem with my dog carrier, I didn’t know exactly how heavy she would get, so I went with “small” instead of “teacup” just in case, and i’m glad I did. I’d definitely say get the bigger one, Lhasa Apsos can weigh up to 15 lbs, so she’ll most likely be between 7-9 pounds. Email me if you want more advice! megisabamf@yahoo.com
