Tips and tricks for building a remote control airplane??

I just got a kit which gives you the design for an R/C airplane and was wondering if anyone out there had some tips or tricks they could hand down to me so to speak lol…its got a gas engine and its made of light wood(Obviously) .. also its just a trainer type plane. Any assistance?

Go to www.towerhobbies.com and look at the selection of instruction books they have to offer. The books will cover every stage of building and flying R/C models.

Also, it would help if you could go to a model flying club and talk to some of the members.
