In which language should I train me dog?

Well I live in US. Im getting a German Shepherd this Thursday, and I would like to hear your opinion in which language should I train the dog in.

Languages I can speak, fluent in Russian and English, but know a bit of German.

I prefer actually Russian, to train dogs.

There are TWO languages you should train your dog in.

#1. Your preferred – Russian

#2. Sign Language.

As your dog ages, and it’s hearing dwindles if you are in his/her line of sight the dog will still be able to understand and comply.

With each dog I work with I always use a clear hand signal with basic voice commands. I can’t tell you how many times being able to “hand signal” the dog has paid off as the dog aged.
