How do I stop my dog from chewing anything around?
My one year old Morkie is on his way out. Every chance he gets he chews to pieces my kids toys. I’v heard all the answers, give him his own toys, redirect, pick up the toys, been there done that it don’t work.If we lived in a perfect world. Kids would pick up toys, and all dogs would be Lassie. This is not just when we are gone, this happens when we are home and in the same room with the dog. It’s not just a puppy thing. now my 6 year old , Brittany spaniel mix is doing the same thing. They can’t be board, we have 3 dogs and 4 kids, if anything they are losing their mind like me. And why only these 2 are the chewers? Our third dog Toby, don’t chew, he just barks alot. Any help?????? I’m about to take a trip to the pound for a drop off.
keep the dogs! but to make them stop chewing on everything, pick up all the toys of your kids first of all. then you need to get the dog a lot of Dog Toys and put them in every room. and skwirt him with water when he chews on kid toys.Good luck with your dogs!
