what age should a Shih Tzu puppy have a top knot?
As soon as the hair is long enough to gather it up on top. I have 3 long haired shih tzus ranging in age from 8 months to 4 years . We started putting their hair in top knots as soon as they had enough hair. Besides looking good it helps to prevent eye infections by keeping the hair out of their eyes.
