Is there anything i can use to cover up the ammonia in my puppies litter box?

I have two indoor miniature daschunds which i have trained to use the litter box. My job doesn’t allow me to go home and let them outside. And so i’m gone longer than they can hold it. So I trained them to use the litter box. It seems to me when the litter box starts to smell like ammonia they start to tinkle on the floor next to their litter box. Is there anything i can use to cover up the ammonia in my puppies litter box?
I change my litter box every few days and i clean them very good. Is there anything i can add to the litter so my puppies cant smell the ammonia? You can’t smell the ammonia in my house. But they smell ammonia in the litter box. I had read in a book once that you can put ammonia around in your yard to keep neighbors animals out of your yard to do their business.

There is a product called Urine-Off that is sold at Vet clinics & there are several other other brands that do the same thing. They will totally remove any smell & even under UV light you can’t detect urine, etc…my mom has a dog that has what we nicely call “bladder control problems” (read: she pees EVERYWHERE, ALL THE TIME!!!) and that stuff works great.
