Are organic/natural sugars just as bad for you as synthetic white sugars?

I’ve read and been told time and time again to AVOID sugar as much as I can because it can lead to a depressed immune system/health, weight gain, and all sorts of other conditions. However,..plants/veggies contain lots of sugars too.

So technically should I avoid eating fruits and vegetables just as much as lets say brownies and donuts, or is that all okay just as long as I eat in moderation?

I recently bought organic fruit applesauces, made only with organic fruits and not else and I noticed on the label that it still has significant amounts of sugar. All fruits do, and fruit juice does as well, even if it’s organic, 100% juice, not from concentrate; though it’s common to hear “drink lots of orange juice”, when you’re sick.

So what’s the deal, is one sugar better over the other, or is it all pretty much the same?

sugar is sugar. white sugar is not artificial, it is refined. the difference between sugars, maltose,fructose, dextrose, lactose, etc is how your body breaks it down.

fruits and vegetables are better for you than brownies and donuts because the fruits and veggies also contain significant amounts of fiber and vitamins and minerals.

brownies and donuts contain a lot of fat.
