Super Premium Dog Food
If a dog was fed healthy food for the first 2 years, then bad food for 1 1/2 years , how will this affect him?
I have a dog who was fed good human-grade super premium Dog Food the first 2 years of his life and no table scraps. Then he was brought into a home that fed him human-grade kibble, but also table scraps. Table scraps with processed food even. Like sometimes cake, sometimes processed cheese, sometimes fast food. This wasn’t his main food, but scraps of it some days, along with the good kibble. Then I got him and am now feeding him Raw. So I wonder… is the bad 1 1/2 years of feeding going to affect him? Or should he still be pretty healthy the rest of his life. (He came from a good breeder)
A bit of table scraps here and then such as cake, cheese and fast food is not going to have harmed your dog, as long as this wasn’t his main diet, so you probably don’t need to worry about this at all, just continue to feed him good quality food.
