how do i get my dog to stop digging in the mud?

my dog really likes to dig but only in certain areas of my yard i even have the area fenced off but she always finds a way to break down the fence she is 6 months old and from what i hear she is a very stubborn breed she is very hard to train and it seems as if she knows she is doing somthing wrong but just dosn’t care anyone have any ideas

Actually this falls into the housebreaking category. I always recommend you put their stools in the holes. Great for around the fencing. But can be used if he digs in the middle.

The mud thing, makes me think he is playing. You can stop it by placing a board bigger then the hole over it.
