How can I Train my Dog to stop barking?

He barks, at the door bell, when people come into the house, next door neighbours, he is jack russel / staffy mix.

He is a rescue dog, and has been badly treated and beaten in the past, so some training may be unsuitable.

He is a lovely Dog, loves food, love and warmth, due to his past of being mistreated and starved on the streets. Due to his passion for all things edible, we have taught him to beg, sit and stay.

In my opinion this is his only fault, would be great if he didnt bark so much and awaken my 3 month old baby!

You can get the clicker for about £1 and you need a bag of treats or you can get a kit with instructions for about £5.
Bascially click to distract when he comes and sits give treat this dose take time though its not a quick fix
