Stop Dog Trainer

is it ok for a trainer to whip a dog to stop a dog fight?

NO…is my opinion. But last week I went to dog trainer to help my dog aggressive dog. She claims to be the “south shore dog whisperer”. Her dog was dominant and my dog did not like it. She claims her dog calms down other dogs and keeps them in check. Instead my dog went after her dog three times. Each time her and her assistants hit him with a long stick with a rope on the end. I should of screamed at her. I did nothing. I am so sorry for that. I have now contacted the MSPCA and a animal care origination she is involved in. She has a lot of followers, but she has also said nasty things about my dog on her facebook, “he needs a beating”. I hate drama but what is the best way to right this wrong. I am a Vet tech student, I would love to tell the whole community of her actions, but I don’t want to look like a complete asshole for letting my dog get whipped. what should I do?

I don’t think a whip is necessary… there are other methods… like one of those loud air horns you can buy… that will stop just about anything, without hurting them!
