Anyone successfully stopped a cat from spraying?

My cat has started spraying 2 years AFTER he was neutered. He never sprayed before. I tried locking him in his own room (I have other cats – none are new) for a week and he did not spray. Then I let him out and he immediately went to spray the first new thing he found in the house. Does the spray deterrent sold at pet stores work? His litter is the same brand as always and is cleaned out 3x’s a day. He had a urinalysis and the Vet says he is healthy. Should I give him to someone else so he is an only cat? I also have his brother and father and they are very close so I don’t really want to do that. I hope someone who has solved this problem can tell me how they did it.
Yes, there is an unneutered male harassing them on the screened porch and spraying our front door. I am trying to trap in in a Hav-a-heart but so far he is too smart to go in. All my cats are spayed/neutered.

Is there an unneutered male cat hanging around outside? That can often set them off. If your cats are indoors-only, then try getting some cat repellent from the pet store and sprinkling that around outside your home….. it may take care of the problem.

Are ALL of the cats in your home spayed or neutered? If not, get it done…. they will also mark turf if there’s a female in heat around…. same tactic as above applies if she’s outside…. cat repellent around your home to keep her from making your male nutty.
