Soft Protection
Do dobermans still make good protection dogs and would they fight or defend if needed?
I seen a lot of dobermans nowadays that are too soft and timid. They seem like they would run if their master is under attack.
Also, how much do dobermans cost on average if I was to buy them from a reputable dealer?
Are there any difference with the different gender in temperaments?
Also, what are they average lifespan.
Dobermans are supposed to be gentle and affectionate. They are also very protective of their owners and will defend their owners with their lives. They can be head strong though and need a dominate owner who knows how to train a dog. Training classes would be reccomended. Do a ton of research before bringing home your pup.
As for cost. Minimum 800 dollars from a reputable breeder. Only way you’ll get a cheaper dobbie is a BYB, mill, or a rescue. BYB and mills bad, but a rescue is always a good choice.
Males tend to be a little larger and a little more laid back in my opinion, but there isn’t too much of a differance.
