how is my dog able to eat with a e-collar?

Today my dauchand had a mass removed from his right front leg and had a few teeth removed. I have to feed him soft food but how am i going to do that if he can’t even reach his dang food bowl to eat with the e-collar on. I need some help and some advice. Im afraid of him not getting enough food or water because of the stupid thing.

You can remove the e-collar to allow the dog to eat. Stay close by & watch him. When he’s done, put the e-collar back on.
