Which brush better for a beagle: slicker or pin brush?

Right now I brush my dog with a pin brush, but it recently broke. Which brush is better for a beagles coat/skin? Also what are some other supplies needed to groom/how often to give a beagle a bath?

Every groomer I know uses slicker brushes but they are not for regular use on Beagles. Pin brushes aren’t for beagles, either. if you want a brush that will get out the loose hair and feel GOOD to the dog, get a soft ZOOM GROOM. Use this brush by pressing down gently and moving it in loops and circles all over the dog. It’s like a massage, and dogs love it.

You can find ZOOM GROOM brushes in many places online if you do a quick search for ZOOM GROOM.
