Should the FOB wear the same thing as the groom/groomsmen?

We are having a small beach wedding (about 40 people). The boys are wearing black khaki style pants with white polo shirts. Should the FOB wear the same thing? We aren’t in to the whole suit / tux type of thing.. we want it sort of casual & comfy.
His boutonniere is going to be different. Does that count?

Since it’s so casual, I think it’s okay for the dads to wear something they choose instead of looking like one of the bridal party. I’m assuming the mothers aren’t dressing like the bridesmaids.
