Good economical dog Car Seat protector?

The dog leaves hair all over the car, I am looking for a cheap cover. A quick google search came up with 50+ products. But I don’t care what it looks like, I much rather just go to Wal Mart and buy a sheet, but which fabric is the most hair resistant?

I can totally relate to your problem. I have three large hairy dogs and I seem to take them (or at least some of their hair) everywhere I go!

You could indeed just cover the seat with a sheet, but that won’t protect the seat from any unforeseen accidents, and the hair can still weave it’s way through.

I got myself an old picnic blanket. It’s still soft enough for them to lay on comfortably, but it’s got the plastic lining on the under side which means it’s a lot more difficult for hair to reach the car seat and if there’s any excess drool the car seat is protected.

The picnic blanket can be quickly and easily removed when necessary and can be vacuumed or cleaned as required.
