Just out of interest?

I have had Jack and Jill just over a year now

They have never eaten “normally”. We leave dry food for them and they will go to the bowl, collect four or five pieces, return to their bed and eat the food one piece at a time.

A few weeks ago we rescued Roo and Scruff and they have now started to do the same.

This is not a problem to me and not an issue I want “trained out” I’m just pleased that they eat well

My question is – Is this a learned behaviour by Roo and Scruff?

Can (and do) dogs copy each other?

They are looking at it and thinking. My god do I have to eat this crap, so they take a bit only because they are hungry. When the other dogs moved in they said to them, it is great living here, except the food is no good, it tastes like poo (Cindy’s dogs would love it), so just pick at it. We are hoping she will get the hint soon enough and give us a T- Bone steak.
