How can I keep my cat off my car?
I have a coupe, which is the smallest car in my family, so my cat loves to jump on top of it and sleep there. The problem is that he leaves hair and Paw Prints all over it and occasionally scratches my paint when he slides off the hood. I’ve tried a “scat mat” and it didn’t cover all of the hood so he walked around it. Then I tried covering cardboard with duct tape, sticky side up, and putting that on top of rugs on my car hood. After leaving lots of paw prints showing that he didn’t like walking on it, he jumped over it (I think: I only find evidence of it, I never catch him in the act). Any advice you have that will keep the cat off the car without damaging the car is appreciated. Thanks.
The car and the cat are in the garage, and there’s nowhere else to put the cat at night. Inside is not an option.
Keep your cat indoors. SRSLY? Keeping your cat in the house is “not an option”? Then you shouldn’t have a cat.
