I need help with my sound system. Safety light comes on!!!!!! Please help!!!?

I have two kicker L7 and a quantum audio 3000 watt amp. When the bass is up loud the red light comes on the bass knob. Only when loud though. What could it be? Also I want to upgrade amp. What would be better? Hifonics 2600, kicker 2500, or What? Let me know what you guys think. Thanks

lots of possibilities. the subs could be sucking too much power out of your amp and if you are blowing fuses every once in a while i would bet that. also i dont know why this worked but my friend had this problem and i checked that first problem and it wasnt that so i bridged the subs and it fixed it and he could pump them as loud as he wanted and no red light came on. im not a professional but try my simple fixes before you try something extravogant.
