looking for 1900′s pull along stuffed Dog Toy with rubber feet and plastic leash?

when i was little i had a pet caterpillar stuffed animal with a plastic leash. when you pulled him the rubber soles on the feet would make him pop as if he was walking. my Best Friend had the puppy and my brother had the dragon or dino, not sure what it was. i was wanting to know if anyone knows the name of the toy or where i can find it?
i mean in the late 1990′s lol. i want to get one for my lil girl

There was a famours book by Eric Carle called “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” which is 40 years old now. Anyway there have been a thousand games and toys made that are based on this book. I reckon there is a chance that it is the caterpillar from this book because the Eric Carle series has included many different animals which might be what your brother and friend had. I have seen stuffed caterpillers in book stores (in Australia) though not ones that you pull along.
