Rubber Chicken Dog Toy
My dog is acting weird?
I have a 2 year old boxer. Normally she is hyper and I mean hyper!! Yesterday I bought her a new toy…rubber chicken that’s makes an abnormal squeaking noise! When i first gave her it she was playing fetch with it and was happily giving me it back which is normally a struggle! Now however, she wont let the toy out of her sight and hasn’t ate since she got it! When e let her out without the chicken she is very unsettled and is desperate to get back in! When we took her a walk she had to take the toy with her and didn’t Let it out her mouth the whole way, also in she has been curling up in her bed or the garden (which is covered in snow) with the toy under her chin and is occasionally licking the toy!
Or last boxer had a phantom pregnancy and am almost sure this is not the same thing!
Any advice?
Oh! How worrying!
Ring up your local Vet for some advise! (even out of hours as some vets live above premises for emergencies)
