DS: Favorite type of Puppy Collar?

I am trying to decide what type of collar to get for my Australian Shepherd puppy. Here are my issues:

For my last couple of puppies, I used a flat, nylon Martingale Collar that had a very silky feel and was adjustable. The puppies were able to wear it until they grew into the rolled leather collar that I use for everyday.

You’ll find with the show chain (I’m assuming you mean a serpentine), it’ll also end up cutting the hair and ruining her ruff if you leave it on as her every-day collar.

And my last two puppies are Belgian tervs – they’ve also got a ruff that I can’t allow to get ruined by a collar.
