What kind of guinea pig bedding doesn’t have an odor?

I don’t really like using newspaper or bedding like Carefresh, aspen, etc; I like the sound of fleece and towels. My mom really doesn’t want an odor and she doesn’t want to have to wash the bedding every week. I’ve heard of mattress pads and puppy pads. Do you have to put the mattress pads in the wash? Are the puppy pads reusable? I don’t think I’d mind hand-washing the fleece/towels, but how long does that take and how often do I have to wash? I only have one male guinea pig so it’s not much. Please help me?

Well there are more natural substances which you could use that would keep odor under control.

I would say you’d have to wash the towels every week if not more to control odors.

Mattress pads need to washed the same if not more than towels

Puppy pads are just cotton so they are not re-usable
