No. Get a regular leash. Retractable leashes are ridiculous. I always see people walking along busy streets with their dog 20 feet out in front of them. What if the dog suddenly sees a cat and decides to dart across the street? He’ll be able to make it about half way if he’s not hit by a car first – and there would be no stopping him.
