Why can’t my windows (Vista) detect my mouse?

I’ve been able to use it at times but seems like everyday it says that windows can’t detect the plugged device. I am using an HP USB ULTRA MINI MOUSE WITH RETRACTABLE CORD BLACK, thanks.
I’ve tried it using different ports, where do i get USB drivers?

maybe ur mouse have some problem..try use better mouse..
