Is it safe to take my pet red eared slider turtles outside?

I just wantd to make sure it was safe. I know that you gotta watch them very carefully. I only have 2 so that wont be too hard. But is it safe out in tennessee heat? its about 90 degrees every day here. they just look like they wanna get outta that big lonely tank for a little while lol :]

i do it at least 3 times a week ,i think its good that they get some good natural vitamin D for them to grow
