Recommended Dog Food

Can anyone recommend a Dog Food for dry/itchy skin?

My poor dog is constantly scratching herself. The skin on her back is so dry it’s flaking. I’ve been feeding her Natural Balance Fish & Sweet Potato (which is “Allergy Free”) but it doesn’t help her skin. I also give her two fish oil pills a day.

I have a boxer that had allergies to chicken by products, so i went to lamb and rice, Her coat became very shinny. She only had a small patch of dry skin and it sent away, My father used to raise beagles and he fed his dogs 1 egg a day, I have been doing this with my dog and now she does not even scratch. I know most people and vets frown on his, but in all the yr’s my dad had dogs, he never had a sick one and they all lived to be a ripe old age with oldest dying at 19, he was very active right up until he died. I fed one egg day to my GSD and he lived until he was 14 and was very active until the last 2 weeks of life.
