what do I need to connect my $49 SONY speakers to the HK 3390 receiver? and how do I get it done?

there’s a picture of the back of the unit on Amazon, but they just look like holes to me. Do I just stuff the speaker wire in there? If so, what additional thing(s) do I need to buy in order to accomplish this? Any precautionary advice for someone who doesn’t understand the inner workings of electronic devices?

No matter what both connections look like, there is a simple way to match them up, it just may, or may not require adapters.
