What is the best thing to do for a puppy that is teething?

Does anyone have any recommendations on toys that would be good for my puppy that is teething? He is 9 weeks old and starting to bit with his very very sharp teeth. Thanks in advance!

Puppies gums will be sore and swollen as the teeth try to erupt threw the gums, so think things which are:

‘cold’ and ‘soft’

I used to get a tea towel or soft toy and put it in the freezer, then I’d put an ice cube in the towel and let Puppy Chew it. A cold tea towel on it’s own is also good, but I found with ice cubes better.

If your puppy is very dominant or alpha it is best not to play tug of war. Just tie the ice cube in the cloth (with the excess cloth of the tea towel . . . don’t use an elastic band or another piece string which can get trap in puppies throat))

You can also give peanut butter popsicles to puppy (but outside, as they can get really messy!).

Or for popsicles, you can yse really, really soft PUPPY Kongs (the blue type) not the normal Kongs . . . preferably ones that have been put in freezer before hand.
