When should puppies be enrolled in obedience training?

I get to pick up my new Golden Retriever puppy this weekend. His name is Parker and he is 10 weeks old. I haven’t had a puppy in a long time. For the last few years I’ve been doing adult dog rescues. At what age should a puppy be enrolled in obedience class? Our local kennel club has an excellent obedience training program, as well as agility, CGC, rally, etc. I really want to get into these things as well.

Most training clubs have special classes just for young puppies where they deal with the usual puppy behavior problems as well as basic obedience. The usual minimum age is 4 months so that that have had all their shots. Start classes as soon as you can!
