Is it bad to give my puppy adult Dog Food?

sometimes when i run out of puppy food, i give him the adult dog food because i usually have extra of hat. is it bad?

No it is not bad to give a puppy adult food. It will not hurt a bit.You don’t say what breed/size puppy you have or how old it is, but if it is a large breed and is 4 months or older or a giant breed of any age it should be on a good quality adult food any way.
Puppy food is NOT more nutritious then adult food…the biggest thing is it often has more calcium then adult food and can be higher in protein then adult, other then that there is no difference. A good quality all life stage food is a good alternative. Also be aware if you are feeding a good quality food and not one of the low quality store brands an adult food is just as good if not better.
Puppies can digest adult foods just fine. The reality is that puppy food is more of a sales tactic then anything else. The most important thing is to feed your puppy a good quality meat based food taht doesn’t contain corn, wheat, soy, by products, beeet pulp, animal fat or animal digest….remember to in their natural state puppies don’t eat any differently then the adults.
