How do I get my dog to stop pulling on the leash, without using a choke caller?

my dog Mojo keeps pulling when I walk him but I don’t like the idea of a choke caller. So can someone please help me!

As Mojo said, the Halti is a good solution.

also, you need to teach the dog to sit on command.
When the dog starts to pull, have him sit, and walking doesn’t start again until he’s been sitting quietly for a little while. He’ll learn that pulling cause him to have to sit.

Another thing you can try that the Dog Whisperer recommends is any time the dog pulls, do an immediate 180 turn and go the opposite direction. He says the dog should walk NEXT to you, NOT ahead of you. If the dog walks ahead of you, it’s more likey to start pulling you. -!-
