What’s the best solution for a dog who pulls?

I have a rescued pitbull who is really stubborn about pulling on the leash. I have tried the halti and it didn’t work out because she would physically hurt herself to get it off of her muzzle. I have tried the choke collar and it didn’t help, I tried the no pull harness but she got really bad harness burns on her chest. She was also seeing a trainer who calmed her down a little but not enough. The only thing that seemed to work is the prong/pinch collar but she’s all white and it’s staining her neck. I’m wondering if there is anything else I can try.

I’m wondering if you are using the prong collar correctly? The prong collar should be tight to the dogs neck so that it doesn’t slip at all. It should be at the top of the neck where the jaw back of the jaw meet the neck. The loop that you attach to the leash should be positioned on the side of the neck (not on the back or front). Put the leash clasp on BOTH rings (not just one). This should stop the staining of the neck and make the collar work much more effectively. If the collar is loose at all, it won’t work.
