Whats the difference between these martingales?

They are essentially the same thing, both running martingales. A running martingale is designed to keep a horse from lifting his head beyond a particular point to stop horses who throw their heads up in the riders face, mostly when jumping.
However many people miss use equipment making the straps shorter then they should be (They should reach all the way to the horses throat) causing a broken line in your reins where you loose partpartialtrol and the martingale is attempting to pull the horses head down.
The second one is designed to do just that. It is designed to be shorter and pull the horses head down more.
If your horse doesn’t need the martingale i wouldn’t worry about getting one otherwise get the first one.
