how do i get my pups to tll me they want to go out to the toilet?

i have two new puppies. their both doing really well at toilet training. however, i have to see them circle before taking them out. i have bought a poochie bell to train them to tell me but think there a lil youngfor that sort of training yet. is there ne way of getting them to come to me when they need to go out?? ps they r being crate trained and dont soil the bed this is just for house time

Too soon for that!! It’s not for them to tell you yet, but for you to tell them! In other words, get them out, every hour, after every nap, feed and short period of play.

Then telling you comes much later, if ever with some dogs. Puppies of around 8 weeks can’t physically hold so need to be taken out frequently, extending until they are adults, after which adults must be given the opportunity to at least pee every 4 hours max. Most adults on 2 meals a day won’t need to pooh more than say 4 times in a day, although because puppies are having frequent feeds, they will need to empty more often. What goes in, has to come out and all that.

Goes without saying, you have taken on a lot with two new puppies together. Not for the faint-hearted (or novice owner to be honest), so good luck!
