How much does it cost to adopt a pit bull?
I’m planning to adopt a pit bull from a pet shelter and I’m wondering how much does it cost. Also I’m thinking about adopting it as a puppy so please help, thank you in advance.
It really depends on the Shelter & if the dog is Microchipped,fixed,and/or donations ! Most shelters around DFW in Texas sell puppies from $60-$150 . Adult males from FREE to $60 ( that is fully vass/fixed/chipped). If you ask for the dogs in the Back- they are normally cheaper & going to be Euthenized that day,they do have puppies that are euthenized as well.
If this is your first time owning a ” Pit Bull “, I would suggest Fostering one 1st. While fostering the shelter pays for the food/vacc’s & medical bills. You just shelter the dog & buy toys till you find it a home.
