What do I do if my dog swallows the pink insulation in my basement?

My kids put holes in the polytarp keeping the pink ‘fluffy’ insulation in, so my dog was able to get to it, and may have swallowed some. What should be done? Is this harmful?

Hopefully it will pass through, just hope it does not stick in the gut. If so there will be an expensive op.

get some duct tape to cover up the holes.
