what pet can i have if i travel on business a lot?

i live on a farm in ky, however it is hilly, overgrown, and not used for any purpose. i have no animals on this farm , but i would like a house pet or possibly a goat or something. i dont know what i can get though because i travel on business a lot and may be gone for weeks at a time. what type of animal would be compatible with my situation?

You could have fish. They have automatic feeders that you can set up to feed your fish while you are gone. You couldn’t have a goat unless someone were able to come and care for it daily.
