Can you potty train a pet duck?

Hi,

I visited several different forums that specialize in caring for pet ducks, and they all had the same basic response — “Ducks can be nice pets, but prepare for your carpet to be ruined.”

That said, one site did mention that some folks diaper their ducks with baggies and Rubber Bands. This requires a lot of supervision though, as the duck could get the baggie in its beak.
