Does your dog have a dog tag ?

Hi i have a 3year old border collie and he has a Pet Tag on his collar .
Is the pet tag supposed to say its name ?
I watched its me or the dog programme and it says not to have a pet tag with their name on because if a pet napper gets them they will know their name and anybody around wont know that its stolen because he responds to its name .

Is this true ?

Tess has tag on her collar with only our address on it and a tag to say she is micro chipped.
Millie has only a tag to say she is micro chipped.

Your right your not supposed to have the dogs name on the tag for that very reason.
