how do I get my dog to stop peeing on his bed, he is our only pet, and he will do it all day and night?

on a daily basis he pees on his bed or anything that is a cushion, pad, or mat, it is driving me nuts especially when its cold out right now, he has nothing warm to snuggle on. he is not fixed, and we have always had trouble with training, but at same time he is the biggest sweetheart you will ever meet. our trainer said the English bull dog breed is a stubborn one to train
