How do you safely get your dogs Paw Print on paper?

i want a tattoo on my right shoulder blade of my dogs pawprint. i was wondering whats the safest way to do it.

i tried scanning his paw print and printing it out, but it came out kind of…idunno,weird.

if anyone could help,id greatly appreciate it.

im doing the same and plan on using an ink pad to press the pad of their feet on it then push their feet on paper.
