I do not like dogs or cats. Why do you pet lovers vilify anyone who is not?

My husband owns an Akita that is an outdoor pet and I have no problem with him owning one because he loves dogs. The dog greets me positively whenever we happen to interact, but I am allergic to animals so I cannot and will not touch him or I will get an immediate negative reaction, i.e., rash, itchy eyes, runny nose.

If you don’t like pets that fine. I don’t ‘vilify’ you or anyone else.
I will say though, that I have an Akita and am really sorry to hear that yours is an outside dog as they are a very social breed thrive in the company of their pack. Since your husband is a Dog Lover I hope that he’s interacting as much as possible with his pet. Take care.
