Outdoor bark control device being used inside?

Does anyone know if I could use an outdoor bark control device for OUTDOORS inside of my apartment? It’s completely humane and doesn’t hurt the dogs at all, it just gives off an annoying sound when they bark, the instructions are very vague and unclear and says “No, they do not recommend it, but the technology could be used indoors.” Why don’t they recommend it for the indoors>??
This is primarily for when I’m at work, the dogs don’t bark when my boyfriend and I are at home. They only do it when there is nobody home to stop them. We are moving into a new place and don’t want to get evicted because they won’t stop!

No, outdoor ones should not be used indoors, it’s probably too strong to be safely used indoors.
