I was wondering if anyone new of any home remedies for raw skin for my dog?

Ok…here goes. My husband took my dog outside and before he took her outside he put her neoprene vest on her to help her stay warm. Well…come to find out, the vest caused irritation under her front arms (like her armpits), so when she got home it was all red. Now under her arms is trying to heal (it looks like a big, raw blister, like three inches long and two inches wide). What is ok to put on it? Hydrogen Peroxide, neosporin??? She tries to lick the area but cant reach it hardly. I just was hoping there was something I could try at home beofre I brought her to the vets?? Please help I feel horrible :0(

Please take her to a Vet. That is always the best action to take when there is a problem with a pet.
